Investment and Trade round-table session with public stakeholders at East London IDZ

As part of a recently started cooperation between the East London IDZ and SANEC, an interactive Investment and Trade round-table session was organised on the 10th of October 2013 at the Industrial Development Zone in East London.

The 35 participants representing Provincial Stakeholders and agencies were present and were informed on Dutch Incentives programmes and SANEC sector development programmes.

An interactive dialogue was facilitated regarding:

  • Sector focus
  • Projects & Products
  • Level of export readiness
  • The Netherlands & Europe target market
  • Involvement with exporters programma DTI

Possibilities and opportunities within the IDZ will be explored and analysed.The input from the participants will be used to organise a follow up session in the Netherlands with possible investors and relevant stakeholders. Ultimately the cooperation between East London IDZ and SANEC should lead to an increase of trade and investment partnerships between East London and the Dutch private sector.
