Together we look back at a successful third Members in Business Cocktail this year.
Much acknowledgement and appreciation goes to all speakers for their inspirational presentations and Van Oord for hosting this special Members in Business Cocktail.
All guests received a warm welcome at the cocktail’s venue at Van Oord, headquartered in Rotterdam. We were delighted to receive honorary guests H.E. Mr. Diodorus B. Kamala, Ambassador of Tanzania, and Ms. Tebogo L. Motshome, Deputy Ambassador of Botswana.
Approximately 80 SANEC associates attended the event, which started with an introduction by Mr. Ruud Romijn, Area Manager Africa, elaborating on their activities in dredging, offshore oil & gas and offshore wind, worldwide and in Africa. SANEC General Manager Mark Agterdenbosch followed by announcing recent as well as future developments, after which he personally introduced new members to the SANEC network.
Ms. Tebogo L. Motshome, Deputy Ambassador of Botswana presented on the investment opportunities the country has to offer. Subsequently, Mr. Remco Rolvink, Founder and Secretary General of DASUDA, elaborated on his recent visit to the Cape region, including the successful matchmaking related to urban development, initiated and organized by SANEC.
We plan to have our fourth Members in Business Cocktail in December. More information will follow.
