SANEC raises glasses on the new office and the new Business Directory

SANEC members and partners and SADC Ambassadors gathered in the Atrium of the Prinsenhof to celebrate the launch of the Business Directory 2012! Chairman Frans Engering and DG International Relations Simon Smits had the honour to officially open the new SANEC office. Together with the current president of the SADC, H.E. Dr Luis Jose de Almeida (Ambassador of the Republic of Angola), they revealed the Business Directory 2012.

On Thursday afternoon, 22 March, our chairman Frans van Engering handed the first copies of the new Business Directory to our guests of honour: DG International Relations Simon Smits and the current president of the SADC H.E. Dr Luis Jose de Almeide (Ambassador of the Republic of Angola). Together they ripped the paper that was sponsored by Mondi to reveal the cover of the new Business Directory. This was followed by the opening of the brand new SANEC offices; the chairman and Simon Smits officially opened the new office by cutting a ribbon in front of the elevator.

To celebrate these events, the beautiful Barbara Gwanmesia filled the Atrium with the sound of southern Africa. The guests took the opportunity to meet and mingle and enjoyed the South African tastes of the buffet by Koningskos and the wines of Versawines. At the end of the evening, guests received a goody bag with the new Business Directory and gCab had arranged transportation to the train station. It was a festive Members in Business Cocktail at the new SANEC office building!
