Supported Event: Meet the Eastern Cape

In the beginning of the new year, SANEC organized the event “Meet the Eastern Cape” in cooperation with WWTourism at the Rosarium in Amsterdam. Susan Wilson of The Eastern Cape Parks & Tourism Agency (ECPTA) gave the 70 participants a beautiful presentation about the Eastern Cape as a key tourism destination in Southern Africa.

After the presentation, a panel of 4 experts provided a platform to ask questions and to learn more about this splendid province and about doing business in South Africa.The panel of experts consisted of Susan Wilson (representative of ECPTA), Cees van der Burg (President and CEO of Buhold Industries BV), Tjeerd Grimmius (Managing Director of Intervolve Foundation & Intervolve Credit BV) and Mark Agterdenbosch (General Manager of SANEC in the Netherlands). The panel discussion was followed by a buffet, with the opportunity for the entrepreneurs from the Eastern Cape to network and discuss the possibilities of collaboration with the Netherlands in more detail.
