Trade Mission: Fact Finding mission ‘Port and Back-of-Port’ to the Netherlands

Beginning of November, SANEC facilitated a ‘Port and Back-of-Port’ fact finding mission for 12 South African officials to the Netherlands in cooperation with Ecorys and EyeOn. The South African government officials were headed by the Chairman of Transnet.

Amongst the distinguished officials, the Mayor of Saldanha Bay and a highly placed delegation from the Department of Trade and Industry were welcomed in Holland. The delegation interacted on several occasions with the Dutch government and business representatives. The Ports of Amsterdam and Rotterdam to meet potential business  partners and deepen existing relations. The guests were also welcomed at the SANEC Winter Gala Dinner and the PSV Stadium to attend a Europe League match.
