Welcoming an honorary guest from Namibia in The Hague

With special attendance by the Permanent Secretary of the Namibian Ministry of Trade and Industry Dr. Malan Lindeque. SANEC saw the perfect opening to facilitate a Namibia Roundtable in the Netherlands. The event took place on 4 April in The Hague and welcomed a selective group of 23 attendees.

Several issues were attended to, for instance trade and investment opportunities and our honorary guest highlighted opportunities in the fields of logistics (re-development of ports and airports), energy, agro, manufacturing and tourism. Together, we reached the long awaited plan to launch a Namibia – Netherlands Business Platform. This platform will allow members to be informed about facilitated opportunities (e.g. export, investment projects and tenders).
